Born2Trade is a broker founded in 2024. The company provides financial market trading services and specialises in Forex and CFDs. The broker offers trading in currency pairs, stocks, indices, metals, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.

Born2Trade Review Summary

In this Born2Trade review, we assess the broker using key criteria: reliability and regulation, trading conditions, fees, platforms, deposit and withdrawal methods, and the quality of its research, educational resources, and support. Final scores are assigned according to the consistent IamForexTrader methodology, which makes it possible to compare brokers using the same criteria.

Below, we examine each of these criteria in detail to identify Born2Trade's strengths and weaknesses and determine which traders it may suit.

Reliability and Regulation

Rating:3/5

Reliability and regulation of Born2Trade
Legal EntityRegulator

Born2Trade operates through several legal entities. The main regulated company, Born2trade Ltd (Mauritius), holds Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC) licence No. GB24203511 and operates as an Investment Dealer. Clients of this company have their funds held in segregated accounts separately from the broker's capital, and its activities are subject to FSC requirements, including financial reporting, internal controls, and audits. However, the Mauritius FSC is considered an offshore regulator and provides a lower level of investor protection than authorities such as the FCA, ASIC, or CySEC.

The second legal entity, Born2Trade Ltd (St Lucia), is registered in Saint Lucia under number 2025-00375, but no separate brokerage licence has been disclosed for it. Moreover, the international version of the Born2Trade website is operated by the Saint Lucia company, and client agreements are concluded with the relevant legal entity within the group. Therefore, the level of protection available to an individual trader depends on the company through which the account is opened.

Account Opening

Rating:5/5

Opening an account with Born2Trade is completed online and involves registration, identity verification, and the creation of a trading account. The process is fairly standard, and the minimum deposit requirements are low.

Registration

To register, you need to complete a form on the Born2Trade website. It asks for the following information:

  • first and last name;
  • country of residence;
  • phone number;
  • email address;
  • password.

You must also accept the broker's client documents and policies, confirm that you are at least 18 years old, and state that you are not a US resident.

Born2Trade registration form
Born2Trade registration form

After registration, you gain access to the client area, where you can complete verification and create a trading account.

Verification

Born2Trade uses a standard KYC process. To verify your identity, you must upload a valid photo ID, such as a passport, identity card, or driving licence. Proof of address, such as a bank statement or utility bill, is also required.

Documents are uploaded through the client area. If all documents are available, the process itself usually takes no more than 10 minutes, while the review after submission is completed in around one minute in most cases. The broker may sometimes request additional documents.

Account Base Currency

Born2Trade offers USD and EUR as trading account base currencies. Both currencies are available for Standard, ECN, and Dynamic accounts.

The choice of base currency matters when funding an account: if the payment currency differs from the trading account currency, conversion may be required.

Minimum Deposit

The minimum deposit at Born2Trade is $10 for all three account types. However, the minimum amount for an individual deposit may depend on the selected payment method.

Born2Trade offers three main trading accounts: Standard, ECN, and Dynamic. They differ in their available markets, spreads, fees, and maximum leverage. In addition to regular trading, the broker offers demo accounts, a copy trading service, and prediction markets.

Account Types

Rating:4/5

Born2Trade offers three main trading accounts: Standard, ECN, and Dynamic. They differ in their available markets, spreads, fees, and maximum leverage. In addition to regular trading, the broker offers demo accounts, a copy trading service, and prediction markets.

Trading Accounts

  • Standard — suitable for most traders, especially those who need a broad selection of instruments and the ability to trade through MT5 or Match-Trader. It is the most versatile account for regular manual trading.
  • ECN — suitable for active traders and scalpers who value minimal spreads and fast execution. The commission is higher, but trading costs may be more favourable when placing a large number of trades.
  • Dynamic — suitable for experienced traders who use high leverage and are prepared to accept increased risk. The account is primarily intended for active trading in Forex and metals.

Demo Account

Born2Trade provides free demo accounts with virtual funds. The broker sets no time limits on their use, and the number of demo accounts is unlimited. This makes it possible to test different trading conditions and strategies separately before switching to real money.

Copy Trading

Born2Trade has its own copy-trading service for MetaTrader 5 accounts. The user selects a provider from the rankings, after which the provider's trades are automatically replicated in the subscriber's account in real time. The volume of copied positions can be set in proportion to the account balance, or a custom multiplier can be specified. Copying can be paused or disabled completely at any time.

Providers can set a performance fee, which is charged only when the result for a settlement period is profitable. The subscriber's funds remain in their own trading account.

Prediction Markets

A distinctive feature of Born2Trade is its prediction markets in Match-Trader. Here, traders can trade the outcomes of real-world events, including central bank decisions, Bitcoin price levels, elections, sports results and other events. For each outcome, they can take a Yes or No position.

Prediction markets on Born2Trade
Prediction markets on Born2Trade

Access requires a Standard account in Match-Trader. A position does not have to be held until the event concludes; it can be closed earlier at the current price. Once the event is settled, the result is automatically reflected in the Match-Trader balance, from which funds can be withdrawn in the usual way.

Commissions

Rating:3.5/5

Born2Trade's fees are not low across the board. Actual spreads on the Standard account are above the market average, while swaps offer no notable advantage for long-term trading. At the same time, the ECN account stands out for its low $5 commission per Forex lot. There is no inactivity fee, while withdrawal costs depend on the payment method.

Spreads and Swaps

Born2Trade advertises spreads from 0.8 pips on the Standard account, but the actual values we recorded during our review were above the market average. In terms of trading costs, the Standard account is therefore difficult to regard as particularly cost-effective for active trading.

Average spreads and swaps for the Born2Trade Standard account
AssetAverage spreadSwap longSwap short
EURUSD1.4 pips-13.03 pips1.64 pips
GBPUSD1.9 pips-5.92 pips-7.10 pips
AUDUSD1.0 pips-3.76 pips-7.97 pips

USDJPY2.2 pips7.25 pips-26.50 pips
USDCHF1.2 pips4.12 pips-17.43 pips
USDCAD2.1 pips1.36 pips-14.51 pips

Swaps also appear to be fairly average. Overall, Born2Trade does not look particularly attractive for holding currency positions over the long term. For Forex and metals, the triple swap is applied overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.

Trading Commission

The separate trading commission depends on the account. On Standard, there is no commission for most instruments, but a 0.007% commission applies to stocks. On Dynamic, there is no separate commission. On ECN, the broker charges $5 per Forex lot and $11 per lot for metals.

The $5 commission on currency pairs is below our average benchmark of around $6 per lot. The ECN account therefore appears considerably more attractive than Standard for active traders and scalpers, especially given spreads from 0 pips.

Account Inactivity Fee

Born2Trade does not charge an account inactivity fee. The broker also does not impose a separate account maintenance fee. This is a convenient condition for traders who take long breaks from trading.

Withdrawal Fees

Withdrawals from Born2Trade may incur costs depending on the payment method. The website lists fees of 0.93% for cryptocurrencies, up to 1.96% for bank transfers and $6/€6 per transaction for bank cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Born2Trade attributes these fees to payment provider costs.

However, withdrawals are processed without fees on the first and last business day of each month because the broker covers these costs. The fees can therefore be avoided by scheduling withdrawals on the relevant days.

Deposit and Withdrawal

Rating:4/5

Born2Trade offers the main deposit and withdrawal methods: bank cards and transfers, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cryptocurrencies. The broker does not charge deposit fees, while payment provider fees apply to withdrawals. These can be avoided on the first and last business day of the month.

A Born2Trade account can be funded by bank transfer, Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as Bitcoin, USDT, BNB, TRX, USDC, Ethereum and Binance Pay. The availability of specific methods and the applicable limits depend on the country and selected payment system.

Born2Trade does not charge deposit fees regardless of the payment method, as the broker covers the transaction costs. Third-party cards or bank details cannot be used: the payment must come from an account held in the name of the trading account owner.

Deposit Bonus

New Born2Trade clients can choose between two bonuses for their first deposit. Only one can be selected:

  • Welcome Bonus $100 — when the first deposit is $50, the broker adds $100 in trading credit. The bonus itself cannot be withdrawn, but it does not expire.
  • Deposit Bonus 100% — Born2Trade doubles the first deposit by an amount of up to $5 000. This bonus can be withdrawn after the specified conditions have been met and remains valid for 360 days.

Both offers are available on the Standard account in MetaTrader 5 and are provided once per client. To receive a bonus, it must be selected in the client area after the first deposit.

A withdrawal request is created in the client area: select the trading account, click Withdraw and specify a suitable payment method. Born2Trade generally returns funds using the same method used for the deposit. If a deposit was made in cryptocurrency, the withdrawal is also processed in cryptocurrency. The broker does not set a minimum withdrawal amount.

Available withdrawal methods include cryptocurrencies, bank transfers, Visa/Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment provider costs are as follows: 0.93% for cryptocurrencies, up to 1.96% for bank transfers and $6/€6 per transaction for cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. On the first and last business day of each month, Born2Trade covers these costs, so withdrawals are processed without fees.

Cryptocurrency withdrawals of up to $500 may arrive almost instantly; processing larger amounts can take 1–3 business days. Bank transfers take up to 5 business days, while withdrawals to cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay take up to 10 business days. According to the broker, more than 90% of withdrawal requests are processed automatically.

Markets and Products

Rating:4.5/5

Born2Trade offers more than 240 CFD instruments across six asset classes. Forex and stocks form the core of the offering, with metals, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies also available. The full range of markets is available with the Standard account, while ECN and Dynamic are limited to currencies, gold and silver.

Which markets are available?

With the Standard account, Born2Trade provides access to the following CFD categories:

Available markets comparison
BrokerFP MarketsBorn2TradeCurrent brokerLibertex

Overall, the selection of markets is fairly diverse, although the total number of instruments is lower than at large multi-asset brokers offering several thousand CFDs. Born2Trade also offers prediction markets through Match-Trader, but these are not part of its main range of CFD instruments.

Leverage

Leverage depends on the account type and the specific instrument. On the Standard account, the maximum leverage is 1:500, on ECN it is 1:200, while on Dynamic it is up to 1:5000 for Forex, gold and silver.

Maximum leverage by trading instrument

Forex1:5000
Precious Metals1:5000

The Dynamic account uses a dynamic model: leverage is reduced to 1:500 at weekends. Born2Trade may also temporarily reduce it to 1:500 during periods of high volatility, around major news events and when the account equity reaches a certain level. Therefore, leverage of 1:5000 is not constant under all market conditions.

Trading Platforms

Rating:4.5/5

Born2Trade offers two trading platforms: MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader. MT5 is suited to traders who need advanced technical analysis, algorithmic trading and Expert Advisors, while Match-Trader focuses on a simpler, modern interface and integrated TradingView charts.

MetaTrader 5

MetaTrader 5 is Born2Trade's main professional platform. All three trading account types are available through it: Standard, ECN and Dynamic. The platform is available on Windows, through a browser, and on iOS and Android.

MetaTrader 5 WebTerminal from Born2Trade
MetaTrader 5 WebTerminal from Born2Trade

MT5 offers more than 80 technical indicators, 21 timeframes, various chart types and graphical analysis tools. It supports Level II market depth, advanced order types and one-click trading. Expert Advisors and custom MQL5 indicators can be used to automate strategies, including algorithm testing and optimisation.

MetaTrader 5 is better suited to experienced and active traders who need extensive analysis and trading automation capabilities. It is also the only Born2Trade platform on which ECN and Dynamic accounts are available.

Match-Trader

Match-Trader is designed for simpler, more visually intuitive trading. The platform is available directly in a browser and through apps for iOS and Android. Unlike MT5, there is no desktop application for computers.

Match-Trader from Born2Trade
Match-Trader from Born2Trade

Match-Trader includes TradingView charts, more than 50 technical indicators, drawing tools, one-click trading, price alerts, news and an economic calendar. The interface can be customised using watchlists and various layouts. Automated trading is available through the REST API, although there is no full support for MQL5 Expert Advisors.

Match-Trader is available only for the Standard account and only to clients of Born2Trade Ltd (St Lucia). Switching between Match-Trader and MT5 requires opening a separate trading account. Thanks to its simpler interface, Match-Trader may be more convenient for beginners and traders who do not need MT5's advanced automation features.

Analytics

Rating:4/5

Born2Trade's analysis tools are well suited to real-time market monitoring and technical analysis, but most of them consist of integrated TradingView data and tools rather than a comprehensive proprietary research suite developed by the broker.

Economic Calendar

The Born2Trade website features a TradingView economic calendar. It displays important macroeconomic events and releases in real time, including inflation, labour market and business activity data, central bank decisions and other information that may affect prices.

Economic calendar on Born2Trade

The calendar lets users track the release time, country, actual and previous figures, as well as forecasts when available. This tool is particularly useful for traders who consider news when trading Forex, indices and metals.

TradingView Tools

Born2Trade provides a separate set of TradingView analysis tools on its website. These include:

  • market quotes for the main asset classes;
  • Forex screener;
  • cryptocurrency market overview;
  • stock heatmap;
  • cryptocurrency heatmap.

The Forex screener allows users to compare major, minor and exotic currency pairs and sort them by performance over different periods, volatility and other indicators. TradingView also generates Buy, Sell and Neutral technical signals, which can be used as an additional source of information for independent analysis.

These tools are convenient because users do not need to open TradingView separately to perform a basic search for trading opportunities. However, these are standard TradingView solutions rather than unique Born2Trade analysis.

Analysis Tools on Match-Trader

The most extensive range of market information is available directly in Match-Trader. The Explore section includes several tools that can be used while trading:

  • market news feed;
  • calendar of upcoming economic events;
  • instruments showing the most notable current price movements;
  • market sentiment indicator;
  • list of top gainers and losers.

Market sentiment shows the ratio of buyers to sellers for individual instruments, while Top Movers helps users quickly find assets with the strongest price movements. The platform also provides news, a calendar and information about the selected symbol directly beside the trading window.

Analytics on the Match-Trader platform

Match-Trader also uses TradingView charts with various timeframes, drawing tools and templates, and supports price alerts as well as news and calendar tracking.

News and Articles

The Born2Trade website has a dedicated News & Articles section featuring content on current market conditions and movements in currencies, metals, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. The articles discuss major macroeconomic events, central bank actions, and factors that may affect asset prices.

The content is updated regularly and is primarily suitable for gaining general market context before a trading session. However, the section cannot be described as a comprehensive research hub: the depth of research is limited, with the main focus on brief market reviews and news commentary rather than detailed forecasts and proprietary fundamental research.

Education

Rating:2.5/5

Born2Trade's educational section is currently fairly limited. Its main content is intended for beginner traders and introduces the basic principles of CFD trading and the use of leverage. Additional guidance on trading activities and platforms is available in the broker's help centre.

Trading Basics

The Trading Basics section covers the key concepts beginners need to understand before they start trading. It explains Forex and other asset classes, pips and points, lot sizes, leverage and margin, Stop Loss and Take Profit, order types, swaps, and Stop Out. It also covers the fundamentals of risk management, trading psychology, fundamental and technical analysis, and the impact of economic news on the market.

The material is written in straightforward language and is suitable as an introduction to trading. In addition, the Help Center provides practical answers about opening and managing positions, pending orders, slippage, trading platforms, and other operational matters. However, Born2Trade currently does not offer a comprehensive educational programme with structured courses, webinars, and advanced lessons, so its educational content serves more as a supplement to the broker's other services than as one of its main strengths.

Customer Support

Rating:4/5

Born2Trade offers several ways to contact support: live chat on the website, email, phone, and a contact form. The broker also has a Help Center with answers to questions about registration, verification, deposits and withdrawals, MT5, Match-Trader, and trading activities.

How can I contact support?

You can contact Born2Trade in the following ways:

  • live chat on the website;
  • email: support@born2trade.com;
  • phone: +44 28 3718 0705;
  • contact form on the Contacts page;
  • Help Center for finding answers independently.

Live chat is the most convenient option for urgent questions, while email and the contact form are better suited to enquiries that require a detailed description or the submission of documents.

Support Hours

Born2Trade customer support is available 24/5, meaning around the clock during the five trading days of the week. The broker states that its average response time is under two minutes. However, automated assistants may be used during night shifts.

Support is therefore available throughout the trading week, but the broker does not claim to provide full 24/7 service at weekends.

Customer Reviews of Support

There are currently few independent reviews of Born2Trade's support service, making it difficult to draw firm conclusions. Overall, users mention the availability of several contact channels and reasonably quick responses, although there are also complaints about delays in handling certain enquiries.

Conclusion

Born2Trade is a functional Forex and CFD broker with several account types, the MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader platforms, and access to six asset classes. The broker focuses on active trading and offers different pricing models, ranging from the Standard account to ECN and Dynamic accounts with high leverage.

Born2Trade is best suited to Forex traders with some experience who value MT5, ECN conditions, copy trading, and the ability to use high leverage. The broker may also appeal to beginners due to its low minimum deposit and relatively simple registration, although they will need to use third-party resources for more comprehensive education.
