HTX was founded in 2013 and initially operated under the brand Huobi. In 2023 the crypto exchange rebranded and was renamed HTX. Over the years, the platform has grown from a conventional cryptocurrency exchange into a major international digital asset ecosystem.
The main business of HTX is trading cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. The platform offers spot and margin trading, futures, options, and copy trading, as well as Earn services, staking, and crypto lending. In addition to exchange services, the HTX ecosystem also engages in research, investment, and the development of blockchain projects.
HTX Review Summary
- Operating since 2013.
- Publishes Proof of Reserves.
- No transparent global license.
- EU and UK sanctions.
- There have been major security incidents.
When evaluating HTX, we consider the exchange's reliability and regulatory status, trading conditions, fees, deposit and withdrawal methods, available markets, the functionality of its trading platform, the quality of its support, and other important factors. For details on how final scores are calculated and which criteria we use, see our evaluation methodology.
Below, we examine each aspect of HTX in more detail to understand the exchange's strengths and weaknesses and determine how suitable it is for different types of traders.
Reliability and Regulation
HTX has operated since 2013, publishes Proof of Reserves, and uses multilayered measures to protect funds, but these advantages are significantly outweighed by regulatory risks. The global platform does not have a transparent, licensed structure; Huobi Global Limited in the Seychelles never held a VASP license and was removed from the register; and HTX's local authorizations in other countries are still mostly at preliminary stages. Additional negative factors include UK and EU sanctions, claims by the FCA, and serious hacks in 2023. Taken together, these factors mean that the level of regulatory protection afforded to HTX clients is low.
Licensing and Jurisdiction
| Legal Entity | Regulator |
|---|---|
| — | |
| — |
HTX operates through several legal entities, and the user agreement makes it difficult to identify a single operator of the global platform. In materials published by the UK's FCA, one of the legal entities associated with HTX is listed as Huobi Global S.A., registered in Panama. The FCA itself separately notes the exchange's opaque structure and the fact that the current user agreement does not identify the specific individuals or legal entities comprising the “HTX Operators.”
The exchange was previously associated with Huobi Global Limited in the Seychelles. In November 2023 the Seychelles FSA officially stated that this company had never held a license or authorization from the regulator to conduct virtual asset business and was struck off the register of companies on 13 October 2023.
At the same time, HTX continues to develop its local regulatory infrastructure. Preliminary approval has been obtained from VARA in Dubai, and procedures are also underway in Pakistan, Bahrain, and other jurisdictions. However, preliminary approval or a submitted application is not equivalent to a full license that covers HTX's global platform.
Regulatory Risks
On 26 May 2026, the UK imposed sanctions on Huobi Global S.A., with the UK's Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) separately confirming that the restrictions also apply to the crypto exchange HTX. They include an asset freeze, restrictions on processing payments, and other financial measures.
In addition, the FCA considers HTX to be an unauthorized company in the UK and has been pursuing legal action since October 2025 over the unlawful promotion of cryptocurrency services to UK consumers. In February 2026, the regulator stated that it had sought to restrict UK users' access to HTX's apps and social media accounts.
From 23 August 2026, additional restrictions came into force in the European Union. HTX (Huobi Global S.A.) was included in the annex to Regulation (EU) 2026/1848 among the cryptocurrency platforms with which direct and indirect transactions are prohibited under EU sanctions legislation. This is a particularly significant risk factor for European clients.
Security of Funds
From a technical standpoint, HTX uses several protection mechanisms that are standard among major crypto exchanges. A significant portion of digital assets is stored in multisignature cold wallets, while users have access to two-factor authentication and withdrawal address allowlists. The exchange also uses systems to monitor suspicious transactions and block addresses linked to fraud.
An important advantage is the regular publication of Proof of Reserves based on a Merkle tree. However, Proof of Reserves should not be regarded as a full guarantee that funds are safe: it confirms the presence of certain crypto assets at the time of verification but does not replace an independent financial audit or a government deposit insurance scheme.
HTX's history also includes serious security incidents. In September 2023, funds totaling approximately $8 million were stolen from the exchange's hot wallet, and a much larger attack occurred in November of the same year. According to an investigation by UN experts, during the November hack, assets totaling approximately $147.5 million were stolen from HTX. The exchange stated that it would absorb the losses and compensate users for their losses.
Account Opening
Opening an account with HTX is fully online and involves several steps. An email address or phone number is sufficient to create an account, but access to certain features and higher limits depends on completing KYC. The verification system has multiple levels, ranging from providing basic personal details to uploading a document and completing facial recognition.
Registration
To register with HTX, click Register on the exchange's website and enter an email address or phone number. A referral code can be added if available, but this field is optional. The registration page also offers sign-in options via Google and Telegram.

After entering your contact details, follow the instructions provided by HTX and confirm your registration. The initial stage is fairly simple: there is no need to complete a lengthy financial information questionnaire when creating an account.
Verification
HTX uses a three-level KYC system. Each successive level requires more thorough identity verification, increases the available limits, and provides access to more account features.
Level | Requirements | Cryptocurrency withdrawal limit | Key features |
|---|---|---|---|
L1 — basic verification | Citizenship, first and last name, date of birth, and other basic personal data | up to 5 BTC / 24 hrs. | Basic deposits and withdrawals, trading features |
L2 — standard verification | All L1 requirements + upload of a passport, ID card or driver's license | up to 200 BTC / 24 hrs. | Higher limits, expanded access to account funding and P2P |
L3 — advanced verification | All L1–L2 requirements + facial recognition | up to 3000 BTC / 24 hrs. | Maximum limits, full access to P2P and features requiring advanced KYC |
Completing L1 unlocks basic cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal features, while L2 and L3 increase the corresponding limits and digital asset purchase limits. For some additional features and promotions, the exchange may specifically require L3.
Account Types
HTX does not offer separate trading account types for retail clients. A single account provides access to spot and margin trading, derivatives, copy trading, trading bots, Earn, P2P, and other services. Funds may be allocated across internal accounts, such as spot, futures, or copy trading accounts. The availability of specific features depends on the user's KYC level and country.
Spot and margin trading
The spot market is the main option for buying and selling cryptocurrencies on HTX. Users purchase digital assets directly and can hold them on the exchange, withdraw them to an external wallet, or use them in other products on the platform.

For more active trading, margin trading using borrowed funds is available. HTX supports cross-margin and isolated-margin trading. The leverage available depends on the specific asset: for example, the exchange offers leverage of up to 10x for certain pairs. Using borrowed funds increases both potential profits and the risk of losses.
Futures
HTX offers a well-developed cryptocurrency derivatives market. The main categories are USDT-M and Coin-M. In the first case, collateral, profits, and losses are calculated primarily in USDT, while in the second, the corresponding cryptocurrency is used as collateral, such as BTC or ETH.

Both categories offer perpetual contracts as well as delivery contracts. Perpetual futures have no expiration date and use a funding mechanism, while delivery contracts are settled on a specified date. Long and short positions are available, along with cross margin and isolated margin; maximum leverage depends on the trading pair.
Options
HTX also offers cryptocurrency options. The platform supports Call and Put options, including standalone American-style options and European-style spread options. HTX's specifications list the underlying markets as BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT. Settlement takes place without physical delivery of the underlying asset.

For American-style options, users can choose the expiration date and exercise the contract early. The buyer's maximum loss is limited to the premium paid, but options remain complex, high-risk instruments that are more suitable for experienced traders.
TradFi
In February 2026, HTX launched a separate zone for TradFi Perpetuals, which allows users to trade contracts tracking the prices of traditional financial assets. These include gold, silver and other metals, oil, stock indices, and instruments linked to shares of major companies.

At the same time, users do not buy actual stocks, gold, or oil. On HTX, TradFi consists of perpetual derivative contracts settled in USDT. They have no expiration date, support leverage, and are formally available for trading 24/7, although the price of the underlying traditional asset may behave less predictably outside its primary market's trading hours.
Trading bots and copy trading
To automate trading, HTX offers its own bots. Available options include spot grid, futures grid, Infinity Grid, Martingale, and Futures Martingale, as well as AI tools for selecting parameters. The minimum amount required to launch some spot grid strategies is 2 USDT.

Another available service is copy trading. HTX supports copying both futures and spot trades. Users select a lead trader, review their metrics, and automatically replicate trades in their own account. For futures copy trading, users can configure the amount, leverage, Take Profit, Stop Loss, and maximum loss; the minimum subscription amount is 10 USDT.
Buying, conversion, and P2P trading
In addition to exchange trading, HTX offers several simplified ways to buy and exchange cryptocurrency.
Buy Crypto / Quick Trade allows users to buy an asset directly with fiat. Available methods may include Visa and Mastercard, bank transfers, third-party payment providers, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The specific currencies, payment methods, fees, and limits depend on the user's country and the payment service.

HTX Convert is designed for quickly exchanging one cryptocurrency for another without using the order book. It offers instant conversion and limit modes. HTX states that there is no separate fee and no slippage: before confirmation, users see the final rate and the exact amount of the asset they will receive. However, fewer pairs are available than on the spot market.
HTX P2P allows users to buy and sell cryptocurrency directly with other users, with settlement in fiat currencies. Sellers post ads with rates, limits, and available payment methods, while HTX acts as the marketplace and facilitates the transactions. The selection of currencies and payment methods depends on the region.
OTC trading
For large transactions, HTX also offers OTC trading — transactions conducted outside the regular public order book. This format is aimed primarily at high-volume and institutional clients that need customized quotes and the ability to execute substantial volumes with less impact on the market price.
OTC should not be confused with regular P2P: P2P is intended for transactions between users through ads, whereas a professional OTC service involves personalized service and negotiation of the terms of a large transaction. HTX is also developing a separate institutional offering with enhanced liquidity, custody solutions, and infrastructure for professional market participants.
HTX Earn and Launchpool
HTX Earn brings together products for earning income from idle cryptocurrency. Flexible and fixed-term products, staking, and special offers for recently added tokens are available. Funds can be withdrawn much more freely from flexible products, while fixed-term products usually require funds to be deposited for a specified period in exchange for higher returns.

A separate product, SmartEarn, allows users to earn income from some of the assets held in a futures account without locking them separately. Returns are generated in part through a funding-rate arbitrage strategy.
Launchpool is designed for earning tokens from new projects. Users can deposit $HTX in a pool or participate through the corresponding flexible Earn products and receive airdrops. The selection of projects, campaign duration, and reward amounts change constantly.
Loans
The Collateral Swap service, formerly called Crypto Loans, allows users to borrow cryptocurrency using other digital assets as collateral. The user selects the asset to borrow and the collateral, after which HTX calculates the LTV and interest rate. Identity verification is required for access.

Flexible and fixed-term options are available, and collateral can be increased to reduce LTV. When the margin call threshold is approached, additional collateral will be required, and if the position deteriorates further, there is a risk of collateral liquidation. Supported collateral assets include BTC, ETH, USDT, XRP, LTC, DOGE, ADA, TRX and other coins.
API
HTX provides an API for algorithmic and professional trading. It can be used to access market data, manage orders, and automate operations in the spot and derivatives markets. Separate APIs are available for futures and copy trading.
The API is especially useful for developers, quantitative traders, market makers, and institutional clients. HTX also offers professional market participants higher request limits and specialized infrastructure.
Competitions and activities
HTX regularly runs trading competitions, airdrops, and limited-time promotions. They may be linked to spot trading, futures, TradFi, trading bots, new listings, or Earn products. The terms usually require registration for the promotion and reaching a specified trading volume or completing tasks.

The exchange frequently runs dedicated competitions with prize pools worth tens of thousands of USDT, as well as regular competitions involving new futures pairs. Such bonuses can be considered an additional benefit of HTX's active ecosystem, but they should not be regarded as a permanent part of the account terms.
Commissions
HTX uses a Maker/Taker model: the trading fee depends on whether an order adds liquidity to the order book or is executed immediately against existing orders. A tiered Prime program also reduces fees for active traders and users with large balances. A discount is also available on spot trading when fees are paid in HTX.
Spot trading fees
For a regular user, the base fee on HTX's spot market is 0.20% for both Maker and Taker. This is a fairly simple structure, but the initial rate is higher than the standard rate at several major crypto exchanges, where fees often start at around 0.10%.
Costs can be reduced through the Prime system. A user's tier is determined, among other factors, by trading volume and asset holdings, while higher tiers receive special rates. In addition, HTX offers a 25% discount when trading fees are deducted in HTX tokens.
Prime level | Spot trading volume over 30 days | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|---|
Prime 0 | less than 30 000 USDT | 0.2000% | 0.2000% |
Prime 1 | at least 30 000 USDT | 0.1600% | 0.1700% |
Prime 2 | at least 120 000 USDT | 0.1400% | 0.1500% |
Prime 3 | at least 600 000 USDT | 0.1000% | 0.1000% |
Prime 4 | at least 3 million USDT | 0.0800% | 0.1000% |
Prime 5 | at least 12 million USDT | 0.0600% | 0.0900% |
Prime 6 | at least 40 million USDT | 0.0500% | 0.0700% |
Prime 7 | at least 80 million USDT | 0.0400% | 0.0500% |
Prime 8 | at least 160 million USDT | 0.0300% | 0.0350% |
Prime 9 | at least 300 million USDT | 0.0224% | 0.0318% |
Prime 10 | at least 900 million USDT | 0.0168% | 0.0268% |
Prime 11 | at least 1.8 billion USDT | 0.0126% | 0.0218% |
Futures fees
For USDT-M perpetual futures, HTX's base fees for a Prime 0 user are 0.02% for Maker and 0.06% for Taker. Fees are charged both when opening and closing a position. The Maker fee is competitive, while the base Taker fee is somewhat higher than at several major crypto exchanges.
Costs can be reduced through the Prime system. A user's Prime level is determined in part by their futures trading volume over the past 30 days: the higher the trading volume, the lower the fees. For USDT-M, rates decrease to as low as 0% for Maker and 0.025% for Taker at Prime 11.
Prime level | Futures trading volume over 30 days | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|---|
Prime 0 | less than 300 000 USDT | 0.0200% | 0.0600% |
Prime 1 | at least 300 000 USDT | 0.0180% | 0.0550% |
Prime 2 | at least 5 million USDT | 0.0160% | 0.0500% |
Prime 3 | at least 10 million USDT | 0.0140% | 0.0450% |
Prime 4 | at least 20 million USDT | 0.0120% | 0.0400% |
Prime 5 | at least 100 million USDT | 0.0100% | 0.0380% |
Prime 6 | at least 300 million USDT | 0.0060% | 0.0350% |
Prime 7 | at least 500 million USDT | 0.0040% | 0.0320% |
Prime 8 | at least 600 million USDT | 0.0020% | 0.0300% |
Prime 9 | at least 700 million USDT | 0.0010% | 0.0280% |
Prime 10 | at least 1 billion USDT | 0.0005% | 0.0265% |
Prime 11 | at least 1.5 billion USDT | 0.0000% | 0.0250% |
At the same time, futures trading volume is not the only way to raise the Prime level: HTX also takes into account spot trading volume, total asset value, and the amount of HTX tokens held in the account. Users can also pay futures trading fees with HTX tokens and receive an additional discount of 5%.
In addition to the trading fee, the funding rate must also be taken into account for perpetual contracts. This is a periodic payment between holders of long and short positions, not an exchange fee. The amount varies depending on the market, so holding a position for a long time may significantly increase or, conversely, reduce the total costs.
Deposit and withdrawal fees
When depositing cryptocurrency, HTX does not charge a separate trading fee when the funds are credited. However, the sender pays the applicable blockchain network fee if the transfer is made from an external wallet or another exchange.
Cryptocurrency withdrawals use a different model: the fee depends on the specific asset and selected network and may change with blockchain conditions. HTX displays the current fee and minimum withdrawal amount immediately before the transaction is confirmed, so there is no single fixed rate for all coins.
Transfers between accounts within HTX can be made free of charge. In particular, when withdrawing to another HTX address through a supported internal mechanism, the platform displays a zero fee.
When purchasing cryptocurrency with fiat, costs depend on the payment method, currency, country, and third-party payment provider. Banks, cards, and payment services may charge their own fees or include them in the quoted exchange rate. Therefore, before making a fiat deposit or purchase, it is worth checking the final amount that HTX shows on the transaction confirmation page.
Deposit and Withdrawal
HTX offers several ways to deposit and withdraw funds: cryptocurrency transfers, bank cards, bank transfers, Quick Trade, and P2P. Cryptocurrency infrastructure is fairly flexible—several blockchain networks are available for many assets. Fiat is more complicated: the range of currencies, banking channels, and payment partners depends on the user's country and may change. On P2P, dozens of fiat currencies and various local payment methods are supported.
Cryptocurrency deposits
To deposit cryptocurrency, open the Deposit section and select the desired asset and network. HTX will generate a wallet address and, if required by the specific blockchain, an additional Memo/Tag. You can copy the address or use the QR code, then send funds from an external wallet or another exchange.

It is especially important to select the correct network. For example, USDT may be supported on several blockchains, but the network used by the sender must match the network selected on HTX. Choosing the wrong network or entering an incorrect address or Memo/Tag may result in a delay or loss of funds.
For each coin, HTX sets its own minimum deposit amount and required number of blockchain confirmations. These values are displayed on the deposit page and vary by asset and network. Therefore, before making a transfer, it is better to rely on the information in your account rather than fixed values from third-party sources.
For the cryptocurrency deposit itself, HTX does not usually charge a separate fee. Any costs are borne by the sender in the form of the relevant blockchain network fee.
Fiat deposits
There are several ways to fund an account or purchase cryptocurrency with fiat on HTX. The specific options depend on the user's country.
Method | How it works | Features |
|---|---|---|
Bank card | Purchase cryptocurrency using Visa/Mastercard | Fast, but the payment provider may charge a fee |
Bank transfer | Transfer fiat to the provided bank details | Availability depends on the currency and region |
Quick Trade | Quick cryptocurrency purchase with fiat | HTX automatically selects an available execution method |
P2P | Purchase cryptocurrency directly from another user | Wide range of local banks and payment systems |
In Quick Trade, the user selects a fiat currency, cryptocurrency, and amount, after which the system displays the available payment options. HTX supports purchases with Visa and Mastercard bank cards; bank transfers are also available in some regions.
Another option is HTX P2P. P2P supports more than 45 fiat currencies and over 20 payment methods. The user selects a seller based on the exchange rate, limits, rating, and payment method, transfers the money to the seller, and the cryptocurrency is held by the platform until payment is confirmed. HTX states that it charges no fee for standard P2P trades, although the seller may factor the actual cost into the exchange rate.
Direct fiat deposits are also available for certain currencies and countries. For example, HTX supported bank transfers in EUR via SEPA and other local fiat gateways. However, these channels depend on payment partners and the region, so users must check the current list directly in their accounts.
Cryptocurrency withdrawals
To make a withdrawal, go to Withdraw, select the cryptocurrency, and specify the recipient's address, network, and amount. HTX displays in advance the minimum withdrawal amount, the fee, and the final number of coins the recipient will receive.
The fee depends on the coin and selected blockchain and may vary with network load. For example, withdrawing a stablecoin through one network may cost significantly less than through another.
HTX also supports transfers directly to another HTX account. These internal transfers use a fast channel with no blockchain confirmations and no fees.
Most withdrawals are processed automatically, but HTX uses a risk-control system. When sending funds to a new address or if suspicious activity is detected, the system may require additional identity verification or send the transaction for manual review.
Fiat withdrawals
Direct fiat withdrawal options on HTX are more limited than cryptocurrency withdrawal options. The exchange has offered direct withdrawals, particularly for EUR and GBP, but the availability of a specific banking channel depends on the country, KYC, and current payment partners.
For many users, the most widely available way to withdraw funds in their national currency remains P2P. The user sells cryptocurrency to another participant and receives the money directly via a bank card, a bank account, or another available payment method. HTX holds the cryptocurrency until receipt of the fiat payment is confirmed.

This method also has a drawback: the rate is set by the P2P seller, so it may differ from the spot price. When selecting a listing, it is worth comparing not only the rate but also the number of completed trades, order completion rate, limits, and counterparty rating.
Limits
The limits on HTX depend on the verification status, specific cryptocurrency, payment method, and region. For cryptocurrency withdrawals, HTX has established a single 24-hour limit calculated as a BTC equivalent:
Account status | Total cryptocurrency withdrawal limit |
|---|---|
Unverified | up to 5 BTC / 24 hours |
Verified account | up to 3000 BTC / 24 hours |
These limits apply to aggregate withdrawals across all supported cryptocurrencies over a 24-hour period. For certain tokens, HTX may impose additional restrictions as part of its risk controls.
The minimum withdrawal amount is set separately for each coin and network and is displayed before transaction confirmation. Limits for cards, bank transfers, and P2P are calculated separately and depend on the currency, KYC level, payment partner, and limits of the specific P2P listing.
Markets and Products
HTX has a wide range of markets and additional services. In addition to offering trading in more than 600 cryptocurrency pairs, the exchange offers margin trading, futures, options, TradFi contracts, copy trading, trading bots, P2P, Earn, Launchpool, crypto loans, and solutions for professional market participants.

The futures lineup offered by HTX is particularly diverse. The platform offers both USDT-M and Coin-M contracts, with both perpetual and delivery futures available in each segment.
Of particular note is the newly introduced section TradFi. It features perpetual contracts settled in USDT, allowing traders to speculate on price movements in traditional assets without actually acquiring them.
Supported cryptocurrencies
The spot market offers more than 600 digital assets, making the exchange one of the major platforms in terms of cryptocurrency variety, with a broad listing policy.
HTX offers both major cryptocurrencies—including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL), TRON (TRX), Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC)—and numerous DeFi, AI, GameFi, meme, and other tokens. Major stablecoins, including USDT and USDC, are also available, and new assets are regularly listed.
Trading Platforms
HTX offers several ways to access trading: a web terminal, a mobile app for iOS and Android, a standalone client for Windows and macOS, API access, and TradingView integration. In terms of functionality, the platform is designed for regular users as well as active and algorithmic traders.
Web Platform
HTX's main trading terminal runs directly in the browser and requires no additional software installation. It provides access to spot and margin trading, futures, trading bots, and other exchange services.

The interface includes:
- a price chart;
- an order book and a feed of recent trades;
- displays of the balance and open orders;
- trading history;
- switching between spot, cross margin, and isolated margin;
- a built-in TradingView chart;
- position and risk management tools.
Spot trading supports Market, Limit, Post Only, Trigger, and TP/SL. The following execution options are also available: GTC, IOC, and FOK, allowing for more precise order management. Users can switch among HTX's native chart, TradingView, and the market depth chart.
Mobile Apps
HTX offers a mobile app for iOS and Android. It allows users to manage their account and trade almost entirely independently of a computer.

The app provides access to the platform's main services, including:
- spot trading;
- futures;
- buying and selling cryptocurrencies;
- deposits and withdrawals;
- P2P;
- copy trading;
- trading bots;
- HTX Earn;
- account management and security settings.

The mobile version also supports derivatives trading. HTX publishes separate instructions for managing futures positions through the app, including selecting contracts and managing the account.
In terms of features, the mobile app is similar to the web version and is suitable not only for monitoring positions but also for full-scale active trading. However, the desktop interface is more convenient for complex technical analysis and working with multiple windows simultaneously.
Desktop Application
In March 2026, HTX launched a standalone PC Client for Windows and macOS. Users therefore no longer have to work exclusively through a browser—the exchange offers a fully featured installable desktop application.

The desktop client is primarily aimed at traders who spend a lot of time at their trading terminals and want to run HTX as a standalone application. Versions for Windows and Mac OS can be downloaded directly from the official HTX website.
API and External Platforms
For algorithmic and professional trading, HTX provides advanced API infrastructure. It enables users to obtain market data, monitor balances and positions, place and cancel orders, and build their own trading bots and automated strategies.
For professional clients, HTX states that it supports:
Interface | Purpose |
|---|---|
REST API | Requesting market data and account status, and managing orders |
WebSocket | Real-time streaming quotes, order book data, and trading account updates |
FIX | Professional connectivity for high-frequency and institutional systems |
Private channels | Customized connection channels for professional clients |
HTX also offers dedicated APIs for the spot and futures markets. In 2025, the exchange launched the V5 API for Multi-Assets Collateral mode for USDT-M futures, including interfaces for managing orders, positions, and account data.
When creating an API key, users can specify permitted IP addresses, and the process itself is protected by additional authentication via email, SMS, and Google Authenticator.
TradingView
HTX is integrated with TradingView, allowing users to connect their exchange account directly through the Trading Panel and place trades without visiting the HTX website or app. The integration was launched in 2024 and allows users to analyze the market and place orders simultaneously through the TradingView interface.
Through TradingView, HTX market data is available for spot pairs and derivatives, including charts, quotes, and technical indicators. To search for HTX instruments, users can use the prefix HTX: in TradingView's symbol search.

The connection is made through the Trading Panel: the user selects HTX, logs in to their account, and grants TradingView access to the trading account. The user can then monitor the market and place trades directly from the chart. This integration is especially convenient for traders who use advanced indicators, custom chart templates, and technical analysis tools from TradingView.
Analytics
HTX's analytical capabilities extend beyond charts and quotes. The exchange is developing its own content ecosystem, which includes HTX Live, HTX Community, and HTX Square. This content includes market reviews, research materials, commentary from traders and KOLs, livestreams, and analyses of current events. Some content is created by users and guest authors, so its quality and objectivity may vary.
HTX Live
HTX Live is an integrated streaming platform featuring live broadcasts about the cryptocurrency market. It was designed for broadcasts featuring analysts, HTX employees, traders, and guest influencers. Topics include market trends, individual cryptocurrencies, trading ideas, and industry events.

HTX Live is primarily useful as a source of timely opinions and trading ideas, but its broadcasts should not be treated as independent investment research: the quality of the analysis depends on the individual host.
HTX Community
HTX Community is a social platform within the HTX ecosystem where users, traders, projects, and crypto influencers can publish their own content and discuss the market. The service has been operating since 2022 and brings together news, opinions, analysis, discussions of trends, and user-generated content.

The feed includes:
- analyses of Bitcoin and altcoins;
- commentary on macroeconomic events;
- discussions of DeFi, meme coins, and new projects;
- trading ideas and market forecasts;
- posts by KOLs and experienced traders;
- news and topic-specific discussions.
According to HTX, by 2025, more than 20 000 posts per day were being published in Community, while the number of daily active authors exceeded 10 000. Content is selected by a personalized recommendation system.
In 2026, Community's publishing interface gained additional tools: users can now quickly link coin tickers, trading pairs, and hashtags to posts and mark opinions as Bullish or Bearish.
HTX Square
HTX Square is HTX's own news and analytics portal. Unlike Community, where user-generated content predominates, Square is more like the exchange's editorial hub, featuring content about the market and the crypto industry. The site has sections for Market Watch, Reports, HTX Weekly, Thought Leadership, Wealth Focus, Latest at HTX, and Product Updates.

Two areas are particularly useful:
- Market Watch and HTX Weekly — regular reviews of market movements, the most active tokens, and current trends;
- Reports — more in-depth research from HTX Research and HTX Ventures.
The Reports section publishes research on topics such as global liquidity, RWA, DeFi, stablecoins, tokenization, and the AI industry. Quarterly strategic reviews of the cryptocurrency market are also available.
HTX Square significantly strengthens the exchange's analytical offering: users get not only short news items but also comprehensive topic-specific research.
Education
HTX operates its own educational center HTX Learn, which offers materials for beginners and more experienced users. Topics include the fundamentals of cryptocurrency and blockchain, spot and margin trading, futures, DeFi, Web3, security, and specific crypto projects. According to HTX, the educational platform has published more than 3 000 educational resources.
HTX Learn
HTX Learn — the exchange's main educational section. Materials are organized by topic and difficulty level. The platform features beginner guides, trading articles, cryptocurrency analyses, educational materials on HTX products, and more in-depth market research.

The main areas covered by HTX Learn:
- the fundamentals of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies;
- spot and margin trading;
- futures and other derivatives;
- DeFi, Web3, and blockchain technologies;
- account security and using HTX products;
- reviews of individual tokens and projects;
- analytical and research materials.
Practical guides to using HTX are especially useful for beginners: how to trade on the spot market, use margin, open futures positions, set up copy trading, and use other platform features.
HTX also periodically runs Learn & Earn programs. Users study educational material, take a test, and may receive a small cryptocurrency reward if they meet the conditions. Participation in some of these campaigns requires a higher verification level.
Customer Support
HTX provides round-the-clock support via live chat, email, and the Help Center. For P2P, a separate appeals process is available, while active clients at higher Prime levels may receive a personal account manager. Service quality depends on the complexity of the issue: support handles routine tasks fairly quickly, while disputed cases involving frozen funds, deposit refunds, and account reviews can take significantly longer.
Support contact channels
The main ways to contact HTX:
- Live chat 24/7. Available through the Help Center on the website and in the app. The system first suggests relevant articles and automated answers, after which users can connect with a support agent if necessary.
- Email: htxsupport@htx-inc.com — the official address for questions about accounts, transactions, security, and other issues.
- P2P Appeal. If a dispute arises between a buyer and seller, an appeal can be opened directly from the order page. An HTX representative joins the chat and reviews payment documents, correspondence, and other evidence.
- Personal account manager. For users at higher Prime levels, HTX offers a dedicated account manager who can be contacted through the app or the official Telegram channel for VIP clients.
The website also offers an extensive knowledge base with instructions on registration, KYC, deposits, withdrawals, trading, P2P, and security settings. In many cases, an issue can be resolved without contacting an agent.
Response time
HTX states that its online support operates around the clock. According to its official guide, an agent usually responds within a few minutes after the online chat is opened. The exchange also states that 24/7 support is available for P2P.
However, a quick initial response does not mean the issue will be resolved just as quickly. Simple questions about the interface, verification, or trading features can usually be resolved directly in the chat. If the request involves reviewing a transaction, returning a deposit made in error, reconsidering account restrictions, or investigating a P2P dispute, it may be forwarded to a specialized department.
Support competence
For routine issues, HTX support appears reasonably capable. The Help Center contains detailed instructions, and staff can handle questions about verification, deposits and withdrawals, as well as P2P disputes and account access issues. Complex cases can be escalated to the appropriate department. In P2P cases, staff assess documents and transaction history based on the platform's rules.
The main weakness becomes apparent in non-routine financial cases. Public reviews include complaints about boilerplate responses, lengthy reviews, and a lack of clear resolution timeframes for issues involving pending deposits, withdrawal restrictions, and account freezes. On Trustpilot, HTX's rating is very low, and a significant share of recent reviews specifically criticize support.
