Just2Trade is an international brokerage brand founded in 2007 in the United States. The company subsequently expanded beyond the US market: in 2011, the brand began establishing a presence in Asia, and in 2015, it entered the European market. Today, services under the Just2Trade brand are provided through several companies in different jurisdictions, while the broker's representative offices and partners operate in Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Just2Trade's main business is to provide retail traders and investors with access to international financial markets. Through the broker, clients can trade stocks, bonds, futures, options, ETFs and other funds, currencies on the Forex market, and a range of other instruments, as well as participate in IPOs.

Just2Trade Review Summary

Just2Trade's rating is based on our own broker evaluation methodology. We analyze key aspects of the broker's operations, including reliability and regulation, account-opening requirements, commissions, deposit and withdrawal methods, trading platforms, available markets, and the quality of research, education, and customer support.

This approach allows us to evaluate the broker comprehensively and compare its conditions with those of other companies in the market. Below, we examine each criterion and the strengths and weaknesses of Just2Trade, as well as determine which traders and investors this broker is best suited to.

Reliability and Regulation

Reliability and regulation of Just2Trade
Legal EntityRegulator

Just2Trade operates through the Cyprus investment firm J2T Services Ltd, which is regulated by CySEC under CIF licence №281/15, issued on 25 September 2015. The broker's licence and the J2T.com domain can be verified directly in the Cypriot regulator's register. As a licensed EU investment firm, J2T Services Ltd operates under European regulations and MiFID II requirements. Client funds are kept separate from the company's own funds: accounts holding client money are designated as client accounts, and the broker regularly reconciles assets held with third-party organizations.

Additional protection for retail clients comes from J2T Services Ltd's membership in the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF). If the company is unable to meet its financial obligations, the fund may compensate up to 90% of a client's claims, but no more than €20 000. However, Just2Trade's regulatory structure is less diversified than that of the largest international brokers: client protection is effectively based on a single CySEC licence, while J2T Services Ltd does not hold licences from regulators such as the FCA or ASIC. Therefore, the broker's reliability can be rated as high, but not the highest.

Account Opening

Rating:3/5

Opening a live account with Just2Trade is a multi-step process. Registering with an email address alone is not enough: clients must provide personal details and a detailed financial profile, specify their trading experience, select account settings, complete identity verification, and accept the broker's agreements. Full trading access is unavailable until the documents have been uploaded and verified.

Registration

The first stage is fairly simple: users enter an email address and create a password or continue the registration process using Google. A more detailed questionnaire then follows.

First step of Just2Trade registration
First step of Just2Trade registration

The following information must be provided in order:

  • first and last name;
  • phone number;
  • citizenship;
  • financial situation;
  • annual income and capital;
  • intended investment amount;
  • employment status;
  • investment objective and intended investment period;
  • expected transaction frequency;
  • acceptable level of investment risk.

Registering with Just2Trade therefore takes longer than with many brokers, where users gain immediate access to their account dashboard after creating their login credentials.

Verification

To open a live account, clients must complete a KYC check. Just2Trade requests identification documents and detailed information about the client, including their financial situation, sources of income and funds, intended investment amount, trading objectives, and experience with various financial instruments. A separate knowledge and experience test assesses whether complex products, including Forex and derivatives, are suitable for the client. The broker may request additional supporting documents if necessary.

Base Account Currency

For the main trading accounts offered by Just2Trade, the available base currencies are USD, EUR and RUB, although the specific set of currencies depends on the account type selected. For example, for the Forex ECN account, the broker explicitly states that clients can choose between US dollars, euros, and rubles. If the deposit currency differs from the account currency, the funds are converted at the applicable exchange rate with the broker's conversion spread applied.

Minimum Deposit

The minimum amount depends on the account selected. Forex & CFDs Standard and MT5 Global require a minimum of $100, while Forex ECN requires a minimum of $200.

Account Types

Rating:5/5

Just2Trade offers several account types for different purposes, ranging from trading Forex and CFDs to trading stocks, futures, and options and participating in IPOs. In addition to self-directed trading, the broker offers investment strategies through the J2T Copy service.

Trading Accounts

The main trading accounts offered by Just2Trade:

  • MT5 Global is the broker's most versatile account. The minimum deposit is $100, while MetaTrader 5 provides access to Forex, metals, stocks, bonds, futures, and CFDs. For Forex, the commission is up to $2 per lot, with spreads starting from 0 pips.
  • Forex & CFDs Standard is primarily intended for beginner traders. The minimum is $100, spreads start at 0.5 pips, and there is no separate brokerage commission for Forex.
  • Forex ECN requires a minimum of $200 and offers spreads from 0 pips with a commission of up to $3 per lot. The account is more suitable for active traders who value tight spreads and ECN execution.
  • Global Futures is intended for direct trading in exchange-traded futures and options. Just2Trade provides access through the CQG infrastructure to exchanges such as CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, EUREX, ICE, SGX, and other international exchanges. The minimum amount required to open an account is $1 000, while the broker itself considers around $25 000 to be the optimal amount for a diversified portfolio. Just2Trade's commission is $1.50 per contract per side, while exchange, clearing, and regulatory fees are charged separately. Available platforms include CQG Trader, QTrader, Web-Trader, and CQG Mobile.

Demo Account

Just2Trade offers demo accounts for testing trading conditions without risking real funds. For example, through their account dashboard, users can create a Demo Forex & CFDs (Standard) with a virtual balance and set the leverage level themselves.

A demo account is also available for MT5 Global and Global Futures. For MT5 Global, the broker notes that the account's functionality closely mirrors live trading, with the main difference being the use of virtual funds. This allows users to test the platform, execution, and trading strategy before making a deposit.

Islamic Account

Just2Trade offers an Islamic account with no standard swap charges, intended for clients whose religious beliefs prohibit interest-based payments. The terms of this account differ from the standard pricing plans, and its availability must be confirmed directly with the broker.

An Islamic account is primarily suitable for traders who need to avoid interest charges for holding positions overnight. Before opening an account, clients should check the list of available instruments and any alternative fees separately.

PAMM Accounts

Just2Trade's investment strategy service J2T Copy uses a model similar to PAMM accounts. Investors select a manager from the rankings and subscribe to the manager's strategy, after which the trading results are reflected in their investment account.

J2T Copy
J2T Copy

The minimum investment is $100 or €100. In the rankings, managers can be compared by their overall and monthly returns, maximum drawdown, assets under management, strategy duration, number of subscribers, performance fee, and maximum leverage. The manager's fee is deducted from the returns generated and depends on the specific strategy.

This format may appeal to clients who do not want to trade on their own. However, the high historical returns of certain strategies do not guarantee future results: the ranking also includes accounts with significant drawdowns, so when choosing a manager, it is important to assess not only returns but also the level of risk.

IPO

Just2Trade gives clients an opportunity to participate in IPO and FPO through an MT5 Global account. To do so, clients need to open and fund an account, select an offering from the broker's calendar, and submit an application through the client portal.

The minimum application amount is $1 000, and the participation fee is 4% of the allocated amount. An application may be filled in full, partially, or not at all. The allocation of shares after the offering closes may take up to five business days.

The allocated shares can be sold immediately, but if they are sold within the first 30 calendar days, Just2Trade charges an additional fee of 1.75% of the transaction amount. Therefore, IPO participation through the broker is available even to relatively small investors, but the fees are quite substantial and must be taken into account when calculating potential returns.

Commissions

Rating:4/5

Just2Trade's commission structure generally appears competitive, although it depends heavily on the selected market and account.

Spreads and swaps on the Standard account

On the Forex & CFDs Standard account, no separate commission is charged for Forex trades—the main trading costs are included in the spread. According to our measurements, the spreads at Just2Trade were below the market average, making Standard a fairly cost-effective option for active currency trading.

Average spreads and swaps for the Just2Trade Forex and CFD Standard account
AssetAverage spreadSwap longSwap short
EURUSD0.8 pips-10.36 pips1.87 pips
GBPUSD1.2 pips-2.86 pips-0.96 pips
AUDUSD0.9 pips-3.82 pips0.52 pips
USDCAD1.1 pips0.31 pips-6.44 pips
USDCHF1.7 pips4.63 pips-18.73 pips
USDJPY1.2 pips4.65 pips-35.51 pips

Overall, swap rates appear to be average and moderate, although their attractiveness depends significantly on the currency pair and position direction. As a result, holding certain positions overnight can be quite costly, whereas the cost of holding others is low, or the trader may even receive a positive swap. Triple swap charges apply from Wednesday night into Thursday, which is standard practice among Forex brokers.

Trading commission on the ECN account

On the ECN account, Just2Trade offers tighter market spreads but charges a separate trading commission. In our comparison, the cost is $6 for a full round trip on a trade with a volume of 1 standard lot. This is roughly in line with the average among ECN brokers—around $6 per lot.

Commissionper 1 lot$3.00per 1 lot$3.00per 1 lot$3.00per 1 lot$3.00per 1 lot$3.50

Thus, the commission on the ECN account is not particularly low, but neither is it excessive. This type of account is primarily suitable for traders who value the narrowest possible spreads and market execution more than the absence of a fixed commission.

Commission on stock investments

On the MT5 Global account the commission rate depends on the exchange and country, so the terms are easier to compare in a table.

Spain

0.15% of the transaction amount

Hong Kong

0.3% of the transaction amount

Japan

0.3% of the transaction amount

Poland

Rates for US stocks appear the most attractive: a commission starting at $1.50 per trade remains competitive for most retail investors. Costs are higher in some European and especially Asian markets. Exchange, clearing, and other mandatory fees may also apply.

Futures trading commission

For the separate Global Futures account, a simple rate applies—$1.50 per contract per side. This means opening and subsequently closing one contract costs $3 in brokerage commission. Exchange, clearing, and regulatory fees, as well as market data, are charged separately.

The terms are different for the MT5 Global account: for futures on CME, ICE, and CBOE, the brokerage commission starts at approximately $0.50 per contract plus exchange fees. Therefore, the final cost depends not only on the contract type but also on the selected method of market access.

Deposit and withdrawal fees

The fees charged by Just2Trade depend on the selected payment method. In many cases, the broker does not charge a fee for deposits, while some withdrawal methods incur a separate fee.

In some cases, funds may be refunded to the same bank card without a fee. However, Just2Trade reserves the right to deduct payment system costs if the client funded the account but conducted virtually no trading.

Overall, funding an account with Just2Trade is fairly cost-effective, but withdrawal fees are above average, especially for bank transfers of small amounts, where the minimum fee of $80 may represent a significant portion of the payment.

Deposit and Withdrawal

Rating:3.5/5

Just2Trade offers a fairly wide range of payment methods, including bank transfers, cards, and electronic payment systems. Deposits via the main methods are processed quickly and often without a fee, but withdrawal terms are noticeably less favorable: depending on the method, the fee may reach 2–2.8%, while a bank transfer in USD carries a high minimum fee. The available methods may vary depending on the account type and the client's region.

To deposit funds, select a trading account in the client portal, a payment method, and an amount. For the MT5 Global account, the main options are bank transfer, bank card, and Skrill.

An important restriction applies to card deposits: for 180 days, funds up to the amount deposited using the card may be returned only to that same card. If the card currency differs from the payment currency, the payment system and issuing bank perform the conversion at their own rates.

Just2Trade also warns that if there is no or very little trading activity, it may deduct the payment system fee that the broker initially covered when the account was funded. Therefore, fee-free deposits should not be used solely to transfer money through a brokerage account.

Withdrawals are requested through the client portal. Just2Trade supports bank transfers, bank cards, and several electronic payment systems. For some methods, funds must be returned to the same source previously used for the deposit.

Markets and Products

Rating:5/5

Just2Trade offers a broad range of both over-the-counter and exchange-traded instruments. In addition to Forex and CFDs, the broker provides access to real stocks, bonds, futures, options, and precious metals. The offering is particularly interesting for those who want not only to trade currencies but also to access international stock and derivatives exchanges directly.

Which markets are available?

Through Just2Trade, the following main categories of instruments are available:

The MT5 Global account offers trading in Forex, metals, real stocks, futures, options, bonds, and CFDs. Stocks are available across several regional markets. The current MT5 Global instrument lineup covers the following exchanges:

  • United States — NYSE and NASDAQ;
  • Canada — TSX;
  • Germany — Tradegate and Gettex;
  • France — Euronext;
  • United Kingdom — LSE and LSE International;
  • Spain — BME;
  • Poland — GPW;
  • Hong Kong — SEHK;
  • Singapore — SGX;
  • Thailand — SET;
  • Mexico — BMV;
  • Japan — TSE;
  • access to the Russian market is also available.

For futures, the selection depends on the account used. The MT5 Global account provides access to contracts listed on CME, ICE, CBOE, and MOEX. Underlying assets include stock indices, currencies, precious metals, energy products, and agricultural commodities.

For more advanced trading in exchange-traded derivatives, there is a separate Global Futures account with direct access through CQG. The list of exchanges available through this account is considerably broader and includes CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, EUREX, ICE US, ICE EU, SGX, HKFE, Bursa Malaysia, JPX, and TOCOM.

Thus, the strength of Just2Trade lies not so much in the absolute number of instruments as in its broad geographic coverage and direct access to stock and derivatives exchanges. This clearly distinguishes the broker from companies that mainly offer only Forex and CFDs.

Leverage

The leverage offered by Just2Trade depends on the account type, specific instrument, and applicable margin requirements. On Forex accounts, the broker allows traders to choose leverage up to 1:500, while limits are significantly lower for other asset classes.

Maximum leverage by trading instrument

For real stocks in MT5 Global, maximum leverage is set separately for each market and instrument. For example, intraday leverage on US stocks is up to 1:20, while overnight margin requirements increase. Conditions for other markets may be considerably more conservative.

There is no single fixed leverage for futures. It is determined by the margin requirement for each contract. This applies to both MT5 Global and Global Futures: actual leverage varies depending on the exchange, instrument, and current margin requirements.

Trading Platforms

Rating:5/5

Just2Trade offers several trading platforms for different purposes. MetaTrader 4 is primarily geared toward Forex and CFDs, MetaTrader 5 is used as the multi-asset platform for the MT5 Global account, while CQG solutions are designed for professional trading in exchange-traded futures and options. All major modes—manual, algorithmic, mobile, and browser-based trading—are supported.

MetaTrader 4

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is used for the Forex & CFDs Standard and Forex ECN accounts. The platform is available as a Windows application, a web terminal, and mobile apps for Android and iOS, allowing users to trade from a computer, directly in a browser, or on a smartphone.

Just2Trade MT4 web platform
Just2Trade MT4 web platform

MT4 supports charting and technical analysis, various order types, trading directly from charts, and automated strategies using Expert Advisors.

The platform is primarily suited to Forex traders who value a familiar and proven trading environment. However, for trading a broad range of real exchange-traded assets, MT5 is the more feature-rich option offered by Just2Trade.

MetaTrader 5

MetaTrader 5 (MT5) is the main platform for the multi-asset account MT5 Global. A single terminal can be used to trade Forex, metals, stocks, bonds, futures, and CFDs, making MT5 significantly more versatile than MT4 within Just2Trade's offering.

MetaTrader 5
MetaTrader 5

The platform provides a wide range of trading and analytical features:

  • 4 order execution modes;
  • 6 types of pending orders;
  • around 80 technical and fundamental analysis tools;
  • the ability to use up to 100 charts simultaneously;
  • algorithmic trading and the development of custom trading robots using MQL5;
  • trading signals and trade copying;
  • a built-in financial news feed.

MT5 is available for Windows, via a web terminal, and through apps for Android and iOS. By combining exchange-traded and OTC instruments, it is the most versatile platform offered by Just2Trade and the optimal choice for traders who want to manage different asset classes from a single terminal.

CQG

For the Global Futures account, Just2Trade uses professional infrastructure from CQG for trading futures and options on international derivatives exchanges. CQG provides access to venues such as CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, ICE, EUREX, and others.

Analytics

Rating:4.5/5

Just2Trade offers a fairly extensive range of analytical materials. In addition to an economic calendar, clients have access to regular research newsletters, global market reviews, Forex analysis, technical analysis from Trading Central, and the broker's own blog. Some materials are available only to trading account holders.

Economic Calendar

The Just2Trade website offers an economic calendar for tracking macroeconomic events that may affect currencies, stocks, and other financial instruments.

Just2Trade economic calendar
Just2Trade economic calendar

For each event, the calendar displays the country, publication time, importance, and the indicator's actual, forecast, and previous values. Events can be filtered by date, country, and importance, making the calendar useful when preparing for periods of heightened volatility.

Research Subscriptions

A separate component of Just2Trade's research offering is free subscriptions to regular reviews and trading ideas. Access depends on the type of account opened.

The broker offers several key newsletters:

  • Global Markets Weekly Review — a weekly overview of global markets with forecasts for the following week and ideas covering stocks, bonds, currencies, and other assets. It requires an MT5 Global or Forex Standard account.
  • Forex Daily — a daily overview of the foreign exchange market with forecasts and dynamic charts for popular currency pairs and precious metals. It is available to clients who have an MT5 Global or Forex Standard account.
  • Global Markets Daily — a daily overview of global financial markets and forecasts for the current day. The newsletter is published on business days from Tuesday through Friday and is available to holders of MT5 Global or Forex Standard accounts.
  • Daily Technical Analysis — daily technical analysis from Trading Central. The subscription is available to clients who have an MT5 Global, Forex Standard, or Forex ECN account.

This format is convenient because traders receive regular reviews directly via newsletter and can use them as an additional source of ideas. However, access to most materials requires opening a live trading account.

Blog

The Just2Trade website also has its own research blog, which publishes articles, forecasts, and reviews of individual markets and instruments. The materials are divided into topic categories:

  • Forex;
  • futures;
  • cryptocurrencies;
  • stocks;
  • bonds.

The blog features price forecasts for individual commodities and stocks, analysis of market trends, and longer-term reviews. Materials are updated regularly, so the section may be useful as an additional source of analysis for traders and investors.

Just2Trade blog
Just2Trade blog

However, the blog should be viewed specifically as a source of analysis and information provided by the broker rather than as an independent source of investment recommendations.

Education

Rating:2/5

Just2Trade's educational section is relatively underdeveloped compared with the broker's research offering. The website does not offer a comprehensive academy with a series of courses, webinars, or a structured curriculum for beginners. Its educational content mainly consists of a reference section on financial terms and individual educational articles on the blog.

Financial terms

The Just2Trade website has a glossary of financial terms, intended primarily for beginner traders and investors. Terms are arranged alphabetically, and users can find the relevant concept using the search function.

The glossary covers both basic and more specialized concepts, such as:

  • stocks and ETFs;
  • volatility and liquidity;
  • short position;
  • EBITDA and P/E;
  • MACD;
  • GDP;
  • free cash flow;
  • mortgage-backed securities;
  • blockchain and Bitcoin.

Each term comes with a brief explanation of its meaning and use in financial markets. The section is useful as a reference when users need to quickly understand an unfamiliar concept, but it is no substitute for comprehensive trading education. To study the market in greater depth, beginner Just2Trade clients will need to turn to third-party educational resources.

Customer Support

Rating:3.5/5

Customer support at Just2Trade is available through several channels and can assist with both general account questions and trading issues. The broker provides a separate trading desk contact, which is particularly useful for questions related to order execution and exchange-traded instruments. Reviews of service quality are mixed: some clients report receiving prompt assistance, while others complain about delays in resolving more complex issues.

How to contact support?

The main official contact channels for Just2Trade:

  • Email: 24_support@j2t.com;
  • Phone: +357 25 055 966;
  • Trading Desk: a dedicated phone number for the trading desk;
  • contact via the client portal and forms on the website.

A dedicated Trading Desk is convenient for urgent trading questions, while email is more suitable for requests that require documents or a detailed description of the situation.

Support hours

Just2Trade describes its customer support as being available 24 hours a day. However, the trading regulations define operating hours as the period from 22:00 on Sunday to 22:00 on Friday, Central European Time, with continuous service throughout the trading week. Therefore, for questions directly related to trading, it is more appropriate to use a 24/5 schedule as the main reference; the availability of individual channels on weekends may vary.

Customer support reviews

Reviews of support at Just2Trade are quite mixed. On Trustpilot, positive comments mention accessible and responsive support, including assistance with account setup and trading. At the same time, some users report long waits for responses to more complex issues, including withdrawals.

Conclusion

Just2Trade is a multi-asset broker that goes well beyond a traditional Forex broker. It focuses not only on currency trading but also on real stocks, bonds, futures, options, and other exchange-traded instruments. This makes it more like a broad investment and trading platform than a specialized Forex service.

Just2Trade is best suited to experienced traders and investors who need access to multiple asset classes, international exchanges, and professional trading platforms. The broker is also available to beginners, but the complex account-opening process and limited educational section may make getting started less comfortable.
